Hi! I’m Katherine.
Writer, cook, planner, and the heart behind Feed & Flourish Co.
I come from a background in Human Resources and Journalism, as well as over a decade of experience in customer service. That work taught me everything I know about empathy, clear communication, and what it truly means to show up for others. For years, I helped teams and organizations grow and thrive, until a layoff and a long stretch of job rejections pushed me to ask a different question:
What if I built something of my own, something rooted in authenticity, purpose, and joy?
At 26, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Two years later, I had emergency ileostomy surgery, a moment that gave me a second birthday and, in many ways, a second chance. I’ve spent years wrestling with food, identity, and mental health, and I know what it feels like when your body and mind no longer feel like home. I also know the quiet, powerful work of coming back to yourself, of becoming stronger, softer, and more fully you.
That transformation lives at the heart of Feed & Flourish Co.
Feed & Flourish Co. is a space built from everything I love: safe, inclusive food; intentional community care; and helping people grow into the best version of themselves. Whether I’m curating an allergy-friendly snack box, planning a nourishing gathering, or guiding a coaching session, everything I do is rooted in one hope, that you feel seen, supported, and deeply nourished.
I’m here because I know healing is possible. I’ve done it. I’m doing it. And I’d be honored to help you feed your growth and let yourself flourish.
A Few Facts About Me
I have formal education in journalism as well as human resources, which means I love telling stories and helping people thrive.
I have a very good dog who supervises most of my kitchen experiments (and occasionally begs snacks which I give because I have no will power when it comes to her).
I’ve had dietary restrictions most of my life, so I take food safety very seriously—and still believe everyone deserves to eat deliciously.
I have a podcast and I am a published author.
I went cold turkey off antidepressants at 27. It wasn’t neccesarily the best course of action but it was one of the best decisons I have ever made for myself. I found my way back to myself, and now I’m building a life and business I’m proud of.
I started Feed & Flourish Co. to help others feel safe, seen, and supported—whether through food, words, or community.
My idea of fun is a good board game night with friends, camping, playing sports, paddle boarding or curling up with a good book or craft.
